Carter, Sr. (D-LA) and Congressman Rob Bresnahan Jr. (R-PA) announced the re-launch of the Bipartisan Opportunity Youth Caucus (BOYC) for the 119th Congress. This first-of-its-kind caucus will highlight bipartisan federal policies that support young people aged 16-24 who are disconnected from school and work or are at-risk of experiencing disconnection – also known as “Opportunity Youth” (OY).

Carter, Sr. (D-LA) highlighted his support of bipartisan funding bills, H.R. 6938, the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act and H.R. 7148, the Department of Defense; Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education; and Transportation, Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Act.
