Donaldsonville has been awarded $20,000,000 through the Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization (NGDISM) grant program.

This legislation will establish a task force within CISA of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) dedicated to addressing safety and security challenges posed by AI.

This funding was made possible through the Reduction of Truck Emissions at Port Facilities (RTEPF) grant program, which is funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that Congressman Carter helped craft and voted for.
