Carter, Sr. (D-La.) announced that Southern University in Louisiana will receive a $796,428 Pollution Prevention Grant through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. The grant is one of 24 recipients recently announced by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This funding will be used to reduce water pollution from nearby industrial facilities.
