NEW ORLEANS, LA – Today, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-LA) released the following statement regarding Iran’s attacks on Israel:

“This weekend, Iran launched hundreds of lethal drones and missiles against our Democratic ally Israel. Despite this horrific overreach, our commitment to Israel's security remains unbreakable. The United States will not accept this level of aggression, and Iran will not succeed in its destabilizing actions. I thank President Biden for his continued efforts to de-escalate the situation and achieve peace, as this unnecessary threat jeopardizes regional stability and poses a risk to global peace.”
