Rep. Carter’s Office Announces “Curbside” Constituent Service Events to Give In-Person Help with Federal Programs to Communities
WASHINGTON, D.C. (4/1/22) – Today, Congressman Troy A. Carter Sr. announced that his office will host at least six in-person constituent service events throughout Louisiana’s Second Congressional District.
These curbside events in New Orleans East, St. Gabriel, Plaquemine, Baton Rouge and Harvey will provide opportunities for constituents dealing with issues with federal agencies or programs to drop in and receive in-person assistance.
The locations of these events were selected because they are in regions further away from the physical offices of Congressman Carter. Staff from the Congressman’s office as well as representatives from agencies like the Small Business Association (SBA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), will also be present and available to answer questions or provide assistance.
These events are free and open to the public. Constituents are recommended to bring any necessary documents with them to the curbside casework event.
