Louisiana Should Reverse Course and Accept Summer EBT Funding

New Orleans, L.A. – Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-L.A.) released a statement following the announcement that Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen will accept Summer Electronic Benefits Program (EBT) funding. Louisiana has until February 15, 2024 to reverse course and apply.

“Governor Landry, it’s not too late to reverse course and do the right thing for Louisiana’s children. Nebraska showed the way and Louisiana can too!”
